The University of Michigan has opened the gates for federally funded research.  Michigan is one of the 147 schools with stem cell lines available and is likely to set an example for others in the near future.30 embryo cells have been donated and will be studied in the first human embryonic stem cell line.  Scientists agree that this has the potential to really move along in both stem cell research but also for all of biology.
