This article does a good job of explaining the situation of embryonic stem cells. Although it is a very controversial topic it is obvious it should not be done. It works like this, the cells come from the inner cell mass of a blastocyst, the term for a fertilized egg four days after conception." From here the cell is duplicated, like cloned. This by many including myself is considered murder. It also hasnt been proven to work unlike adult stem cells. I believe this is a huge risk and problem if there isnt even a promised positive result. embryonic stem cell research should not be allowed to continue it is extremely wrong.
