Through some of the research found in this article, describing the research and process done on embryonic stem cells, supports the point of why the research should not be continued. It may possibly save the life of a child, but it will also be taking a life of one as well. There is not enough research done on stems cells that we know is an accurate cure for some of these diseases, so why take the risk that it won't work. We shouldn't take this risk because in the process we are killing innocent lives that can't speak up for themselves. If saving one child's possibility of a better life by destroying the chances of another through this research, we aren't fully really helping anyone. In this article it talks about other ways of getting stem cells without taking the life of someone and the possible results of stem cell transplants. Does embryonic stem cell research save lives or destroy them?
