The first link is an article that is about a study done on rats with brain damage similar to that of premature babies. They were given embryonic stem cells and signs of neurological improvement were detected and the donor cells survived. A doctor is also quoted saying the cells can become " any of the over 200 cell types" in our bodies. The second article is another study where they took stem cells from a blastocyst and let the embryo develop. The fluid used to soak the cells used to be made from destroyed embryos and the researchers here were able to make it from scratch, preserving those embryos.
